Manufactured by Y&P Airsoft in Taiwan the MK23 is a gas powered airsoft handgun which has been modelled on the Heckler & Koch style Mark 23 USSOCOM pistol. The MK23 gas gun is constructed from heavy weight anti shock resistant and durable ABS with an internal metal frame, and is finished in UK legal black and two tone colours. The Y&P MK23 pistol has an ergo friendly design suitable for both left and right handed shooters. The gas handgun has an internal metal barrel which also provides increased weight and sturdiness, and provides the user a realistic feel to the handgun, plus with a weight of approx. 1000g and length of 427mm this is a large size handgun. The MK23 pistol has a range of up to 40 metres (approx.) with an estimated output velocity of 320fps (manufacturer’s data). The MK23 is a gas powered non-blowback with fixed top slide and semi auto firing action, the gun has exceptional stability, performance, velocity and accuracy, especially when using heavier 0.20g 6mm bb bullets. The gun is easy to reload with gas by removing the handgrip cover to expose the gas chamber and locking pin, so that gas refill tins can be attached in and the gun refilled in seconds. The MK23 gas gun has a front fixed blade sight, and a rear fixed notch sight, a mock silencer removable barrel extension, a safety switch plus an under barrel 20mm RIS rail for tactical additions. We recommend only using 6mm polished airsoft pellets with this gas pistol.
